Brittany Jones is a glory carrier. She is in love with God, his bride the church, and the lost She is not only a gifted psalmist and worship leader, but God has graced her to pen songs that transform lives. She is an anointed National Gospel Recording Artist hailing from Dallas, TX with a unique style and talent that leaves listeners spiritually touched as she ministers in song. Anyone fortunate enough to listen to Brittany will agree that she is a psalmist that carries a presence of the anointing far beyond her years.
Brittany has been afforded the opportunity to grace the stage with artist such asKirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Fantasia, Rich Tolbert Jr., Melvin Crispell III, Doe, Vickie Winans, Crystal Aikin, Gaye Arbuckle Sneed, Candy West, Kathy Taylor, Beverly Crawford, Geoffrey Golden, Jonathon McReynolds, Ernest Pugh, Chrystal Rucker, April Nevels,Kierra Sheard Kelly, and the Dallas Chapter of GMWA. Brittany has been a featured soloist for the four-time Emmy winning Black Academy of Arts and Letters Civil Rights Concert for 3 years. She was even featured on BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel as a lead soloist with Dr. Patrick Bradley and the Westside Baptist Church Choir in 2014.
In the summer of 2011, God began to give Brittany psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to help her commemorate the lessons He had taught her and the revelations He wanted her to teach to others. In January of 2012, God gave her the vision to form a group of young believers who were adamant about expressing praises to God through song. God gave her the name “Identity”. In a world constantly shifting and changing, Christ the solid rock gives stability and identity.
Brittany and Identity released their 1st album “Broken for a Blessing” in August of 2013. The group has since then been awarded 2014 Ensemble of the Year at the Texas Gospel Music Awards, and Brittany was nominated Songwriter of the Year at the Rhythm of Gospel Awards in 2014 and Female Vocalist of the Year for the Homegrown Gospel Awards in 2015. In July 2016, Brittany presented “In Everything Give Thanks” from the album at the 48th Annual Gospel Music Workshop of America in New Orleans, and July 2018 she presented “Sweet Exchange” to the 50th GMWA in Atlanta.
In 2018 God afforded Brittany the opportunity to lead worship at the Potter’s House of Fort Worth, Pastor Patrick Winfield. In 2019, Brittany became the official Worship Leader and Vocal Director where she currently serves.
Brittany and her husband Isaiah, both passionate musicians with a shared vision for fostering musical talent, embarked on the journey of establishing JAMS Academy music school in 2019. Driven by their deep love for music and a desire to impart their knowledge and skills to aspiring individuals, they have cultivated a vibrant learning environment at JAMS Academy. Specializing in voice, piano, organ, and drum lessons, Brittany and Isaiah bring a unique blend of expertise and enthusiasm to their teaching approach. Brittany's unwavering dedication to the art of music and her collaborative efforts with Isaiah have not only shaped the foundation of JAMS Academy but have also created a community where passion and musical expression thrive.
In 2020, Brittany founded Glory Carriers University, offering mentorship, masterclasses, and worship conferences to music ministries nationwide. GCU aims to refuel, refresh, and realign musicians for effective ministry in their local churches. Brittany has since served as consultant and clinician to many music ministries across the nation.
With the turn of the new year, new opportunities and partnerships afforded Brittany to release her second album "Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs" in 2021. She was fortunate to land #157 on the Gospel Billboard Charts and travel. She was blessed to minister on “Atlanta Live” and share her God-given gift.
Brittany is also a sought after soloists. She is a featured artist on national recording artist Gary Edwards “Tell Me”. Furthermore, she has been blessed to be a featured soloist on “This is Your Place”, “Walk in the Light”, and “The Blood” with Marcus Scott and His Sound Ministries.
Married to Leroy Jones, her music and ministry partner, Brittany is a proud mother to their son, LJ. Her mission is clear—to teach, encourage, and admonish God's people to trust in His unlimited power and everlasting love. Through her music, she aims to reach those searching for their identity and draw more souls to Christ by lifting Him up.
